I got an Epson NX400 for Christmas and have not had any trouble with it so far...works very well for the edible images.

I also prefer epson over canon as the canon seems to have a lot of problems with the print head clogging. I've had my epson for a couple of years. It sits for months at a time without use and has never clogged on me. Here's a site where you can download edible artist free http://www.deco.uk.com/content/view/101/137/ I like it much better then the software from kopykake and you don't need credits to use it.

So really, you can get pretty much any 'unused' Epson printer and the edible ink seperately and it'll work?

Kopykake has a list of printers they sell the cartridges for. I bought refillable cartridges on ebay and buy the refil ink from kopykake. If you can find cartridges to fit the epson you are looking at it will work.

Do you know if they will also print in Rice Paper?
