I do not have airbrushing system, but I need to do a Rainbow Trout cake. Can I use the Wilton Color Mist instead? Never used it before...

Please help, cake is due for Thursday.

Thank you

I use to use color mist to do skys on my cakes or add alittle color...its alittle harder, as the nozzle just mists all over. You can do it but have to cover up what you dont want colored.

Im now using my airbrushing kit Ive had for a 1yr but afraid to use. If you look at my horse cake picture...you can see I struggled alittle with the sky....on the turtles I used my airbrushing.

What about a mixture of lustre dusts mixed with alcohol and painted on?
