I piped scrolls on a fondant cake then refrigerated the cake for the next day. The cake sat outside in humid weather and the scrolls started to run. What should I have done? We have hot humid weather. any suggestions for outdoor cakes?

The scrolls ran because of the condensation collecting on the cold cake, then being exposed to the warmth and humidity.
