I Need Help Now With Fondant!!!!

I purchased an icecream cake and would like to put fondant lettering on it. Is that ok to do??? I am need help soon as we a going to a party in 1 hour...

Nope - the moisture from the ice cream cake would wreak havoc on the fondant.

What if you make the letters, and take them with you? Ice cream cake doesn't get taken out of the freezer until it's ready to eat, so you could just put the lettering on right before it's served, if that's possible. I think the moisture problem would only happen if the cake sits out for awhile...but then you would have a melting problem too! lol

I would probably plop them on at the party.
