All I can find is butter rum and I need butter. Can anyone tell me the difference? I'm using it in fondant.

Flavorings in any cake, cookie or icing is really a personal thing. If you don't like one, change it.....
There is a big difference between butter rum and 'plain' butter flavoring. The butter rum will be more rum tasting than buttery.
You can replace it w/vanilla or if you like & have it lemon extract will work too.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was wondering. It will be for a kiddie cake and I don't think the rum flavor will go over too well. I only have a Hobby Lobbyu to get my supplies from so I will ask them to special order plain butter for me. THANKS AGAIN!
