I agreed to help a bride out with a last minute wedding cake and will not be able to set the cake up the day of the wedding. I will be delivering the cake late tonight but they are nervous about setting the tiers on each other. If I set it up tonight and dowel it well will it be ok for the reception tomorrow at 4? The cake is 3 tiered square with all buttercream and fondant decorations. Sized 16" 14" and 10". Thanks so much for your help in advance!!

With proper support there should be no problem. But.... I hope you dowel it well before you set it upicon_smile.gif

Sure it will. Just make sure you have proper support as kakeladi said and make sure they sign something saying that you are no longer liable if something should happen to it after you leave (ie, someone bumps into the table etc.)
