Hi, all - newbie here. I am wanting to bake two 1/2 sheet pans (jelly roll-type) and two 6x2" rounds. I've not done this before and am wondering about bake times for all the cakes. Any ideas?? Thanks!

You bake at 325 degrees until you can smell that wonderful aromaicon_smile.gif
A jelly roll type pan is thin.......it would only take maybe 20-30 minutes, if that. Again, it's best to use your nose with these. Time is only a guideline.

Thanks! Also, I've been reading about putting flower nails in thicker cakes, is this something I have to worry about with the 6" rounds?

Thanks, I really appreciate the advice. My mother-in-law asked me to bake a motorcycle cake for my father-in-law's 80th birthday (he's getting a harley!) and I don't want to screw it up! Wish me luck!
