Help? Milk In Recipie

ok so ive waited to the last minute again i got a recipie off her and it calls for milk now in my house its skim only, should i be running to the store to get a different kind like a richer milk but which 1 i dont know if whole is too creamy or what if anybody has used a milk recipie can you let me know i would appreciate it

I've used 2% milk and my cake came out just fine. The recipe was not specific as to which milk to use, it's just what I always have in the house.

yeah i was thinking maybe 2% since its not soo thick i knew skim was out of the question thank you so much
