They have just brought out the lower case set of letters and OMG, they are so much easier to use than the capital letters! They came out with the first tap no problems, whereas I always have real problems with the capitals getting stuck. I think they need to rethink the capitals design as I'm sure the lower case are a bit chunkier with fewer fiddly bits. They are very cute too, I used them for the first time today:
Hi bonjovibabe, I've got them too! They are fantastic and they are one of my favourites.
That looks super cool! Great cake too!
Where did you get them, and how do you use them?
I like that font - more fun that the regular cursive and block text. Love tappits!
Here's Edna's youtube video on how to use the tappit lettering:
I would like to know where to get them also!! They look great!!
I have just received the lower casing which I ordered because I love the upper casing ones. The upper casing & all letter tappits work very well if you roll your gum paste thin & leave it to dry for a short time before cutting the letters. I have used the upper casing ones a few times & never a problem. marisanovy, you can get them from Global Sugar.
i love all the tappits also.. your cake looks beautiful... tappits.. easy to use.. when you get use to them.. can buy at global sugar art.. they are on sale this month.. got some more the other day.. even with them on sale. i still got to use the 15% discount.. that was luck..
