Freezing Cream Cheese Frosting Flowers

What is the best way to freeze flowers made with cream cheese frosting? Should it be covered in the freezer?

If they need to be frozen for more than a day, then you should put them in a box and wrap the box in a layer or two of plastic wrap, then a layer or two of heavy foil, and then put the box in a paper grocery sack. The paper grocery sack absorbs any freezer odors (including from the ice maker, which you wouldn't think would produce an odor!). This is how I instruct my brides to store their top tiers and I have received many compliments a year later on how fresh and yummy the cake tasted after having stored it correctly.
