i have a pasta machine with motor that i use a great deal. but the motor seems to walk out a little from the pasta machine even with the little arm pushing against it, plus with the motor attached it no longer sits level on the counter, have any of you who have one mounted it on a piece wood or something? its workable the way it is but i have to watch the motor walking out of the machine.

Try putting some non skid mat under it (shelf liner). That's what I do with my compressor and it doesn't move.
