I am going to make a cake, on a princess type theme. Using the large book pan ( Wilton ), and do a fairy tale theme...Do the writing on it, like Once upon a time... etc..etc.. and end with, " and they lived happily ever after"

I wanted to make some fondant things to go around the cake that went with the theme. Such as, a glass slipper, a crown, but I need some other items to make and I have run out of ideas.... Can anyone give me any help?

Thanks
Rhonda

a little frog to kiss? =)

I don't know how to post a link but the winner of the recent 2009 fairytale contest used that theme and it was just beautiful.

Well.... I went to the 2009 fairy tale contest, but didn't see anything like that. I am so computer illiterate..(LOL) that I can't seem to find it!!!
Would anyone else know the link...Thanks so much!

I'm not quite sure how to tell the winner, but this one seems to fall in the same kind of idea (book), and it's fantastic!

Is it a disney-fied fairy tale cake? Then maybe some birds. They all seem to be really good friends with the bluebirds icon_smile.gif
