I want to make bamboo to go along with some orchids and wondered if anyone had any suggestions. There are a couple of silicone molds on the market - if anyone has them, please let me know if they work for you.
TIA

Last time, I just rolled out my fondant and hand cut them to look like bamboo. I was just making a bamboo border though. I used cocoa powder to dust the piece with to give them some shading.

You can roll and push the sides inside with a ball tool. And handpaimt with some brown luster dust or petal dust. If you want another way, first impressions has a great bamboo mold..

Here are video's where Brandi shows you how to make bamboo out of fondant. Her first video unfortunately she forgot to turn her volume up, but you can see the steps she does to make them. The second video she corrected the volume. HTH
