I have been ask to do a 3d piano cake and not sure how to even start this. Can some one who has done one give me some instructions on what to do. any and all help is truly appreciated.

I have not done one... but here is a bump.

If it were me, I would take foam core and carve it into the shape I needed. Take the cake and carve it around that (thats what Geoff on Ace of cakes did)

As for the legs... hmmmm.... I have used threaded poles and lugnuts w/ washers for cakes that are off the ground...
