I have a somewhat sill question about cake dummies. Can I just go to Michael's or A.C. Moore and buy regular styrofoam they sell, or is there a special styrofoam used in cake dummies that is better for decorating? Any info would be great! Thank you in advance
Most cake dummies are made from just regular old styrofoam. You can get it at the craft store and cut it yourself, but it is a big hassle and makes a big mess. It is well worth the $$ to buy them precut if you can. I get mine from www.taylorfoam.com.
Thank you for the advice. I am just too impatient to wait for them to come in the mail. I want to go get one and start practicing right away
