Is there anyone out there that lives around Venice Beach, Los Angeles area?
My brother is turning 50 this month and some friends are doing a big party for him. He is a cinematographer and so maybe doing a cake having to do with filming etc might be a neat idea. If you do specialty cakes please email me or PM me so I can recommend you to my brothers friend. She is thinking of a photo cake but I think those are passe...sorry. Hope to hear from some of you. His party is the last weekend in March...

I used to live in Venice, but don't know of anyone to do a cake. Moved before I got into cakes. I don't even know of the specialty bake shops down there. You might see if anyone is from Marina del Rey or Santa Monica area too. Good Luck!

thanks....I don't live out there but my brother lives in Venice Beach. I live in Indiana but wanted to direct someone to a specialty cake person to do his birthday cake. He is turning 50 and I can't be there to even take him a cake. If we weren't going to Ireland in April then I would have baked it myself there or taken it on the plane.

I thought for sure I would find someone in that area.
