Do You Think 10Lbs Is Enough??

I have a 4 tier cake coming due in a couple of weeks. It will be a 12/10/8/6. The fondant will only be used to cover the cakes. approx 4in tall..

If you're using Satin Ice here is the chart

not sure if its accurate, i haven't tried it.

According to the Satin Ice website, it should be plenty. If I do my math right, they say it'll take 4 pounds.

If it is round yes it is cutting it close .... according to my chart you will use 9lbs 10 ounces.
If it is square you need 13lbs 10 ounces
If you want exact weight per cake PM me I will tell you.

Wow, with the satin ice chart, I have more then enough. And, I did buy satin ice. I've done very little with fondant, but just over 4lbs doesn't seem like enough.

Well, if it is, I shouldn't have any problems with 10lbs on hand.
