Hey guys! I am about to make NFSC for the first time and was wondering.....does the flour need to be sifted first or does it even make a difference?

Thanks!!

Thanks antonia...I'm also using your RI recipe, if I'm wanting to put sprinkles on top of the RI should I do it while they're wet or wait till it's starting to set? Or again does it matter?

I'm sorry for all the ???'S but appreciate the help.

If you're putting sprinkles on edge piping you have to do it right away or the icing dries out and sprinkles won't stick. But if you're putting it on fill icing wait a few minutes to put sprinkles on (especially with sanding sugars). They'll sit on top of the icing more which makes them more pronounced.
