Hello everyone, I received a cupcake order for a ladies DJ party, the ladies are aged between 20 and 30. The lady wants something nice and funky, do you have any ideas you can share?
Thanks a lot in advance.

When I think funky, I think of a hot pink and black combo. Maybe some martini glasses, high heels, etc.. Good luck, and post pics when your done!

Thanks for the suggestion, Pink and Black seems nice, I'll suggest it to the customer.

Forgive my ignorance (blissful, at times LOL) "DJ"? as in Disc Jockey?
Pink & black - teal & black - retro funk
White and black - classic & funky
Musical notes and/or martini glasses made of chocolate stuck into frosting.
Look into the funky paper cuffs as well - I love the 5" square of parchment paper placed over the muffin tin and 'squashed' into the space with a drinking glass, then in goes cuppie batter!
? Dip in fondant for that ultra-smooth look - sophisticated - perhaps dip in 2 colors? Funky?
What FUN!! Post the pics !!

Lizamlin, thanks for your reply, but I didn't quite understand the thing about parchment paper. Did you mean that I remove the parchment after baking the cupcakes? What about fondant, what do i do with it.
Regarding the martini glasses, the customer doesn't want anything related to drinks.

thanks again,
