The client wants the bright colors of the fiesta theme with a baby twist, any ideas?

How about using either some baby rattles/maracas, tiny and/or pinatas?

These aren't cake related but I thought they might give you some inspiration:

Maybe someone else will come along and offer some more ideas to you....

Good luck and please post your pic when your done. icon_smile.gif

How about a baby with a serape(sp?) style blanket over it (peeking out of the blanket). I have done a baby cake with a "quilt" over a plastic crawling baby.
Or maybe a baby holding maracas instead of a rattle?

I think the idea of maracas is definately cool. For a little twist to that, if you used a small balloon as your template for your gumpaste, pop the balloon once the gumpaste is dry (sorta like when you do paper mache - but crisco the balloon first). Fill your hollow gumpaste maraca with some rice so it really makes sound!

If you ever saw one of those "Serape" blankets, they have great color schemes. Lots of brights.

I attached a pic so if you don't know what I am referring to, you can see it. icon_biggrin.gif
