I will be making a groom's cake in June for a small beach wedding. It will be a Hawaiian shirt cake. How do I go about making one without a shirt cake pan? I know I will be carving the cake or piecing it together. I need all the help that I can receive.

I think I have directions in one of my cake books too. I'll go look in a few minutes if I can't find anything else online for you.
