This is a Japanese chain store selling cakes and upscale pastries. They were featured in a story in the Pastry & Baking North America magazine this month. Chain was started by a Japanese MBA grad beacuse he didn't like US cakes and all their aritficial ingredients (like shortening instead of butter).
Anyboady ever been to one. They are in Calif and Hawaii for now.
I'm in San Francisco and was hoping to see a location in Japantown, but they don't have anything in the city. There are 2 stores on the peninsula though, so it might be worth a drive. Thanks for the heads up!
I just subscribed to a pastry magazine that featured an article about them. Their wedding cakes are gorgeous!
I am not familiar of the bakery but when I lived in the Japan the cakes were sooooooooooooo good!
