How long does this need to rest? When i take it out of the fridge, should I nuke it for a few seconds? Do i need to let the things I make with it set or will they do that on the cake?

I haven't gotten brave enough to try gum paste, but I know you make the items ahead of time so they can set very hard.
(This also bumps your question up, so someone who knows more than I do can see it easier.)

I'm not an expert either, but I don't refrigerate gumpaste. Just make sure it's kept in an airtight bag.

Bella, I'd store it in a sealed bag, out of light...but not in fridge, it just doesn't need it. Best success with it!!
