I have used a lot of Americolor purple, then added some super red and navy blue. It is sitting now and I'm hoping that it darkens up some, but I need a darker color for my decorations. Any quick advice?

Thanks!

So you say the color is only Lavender....It should darker up since you added red and blue....I usually only need the violet but quite a bit of it.

Thanks, Kiddiekakes. It did darken up some and I may add a little bit more color after I get the cake frosted so that the decorations will be a little bit different color. I appreciated the help.

I did a purple cake this past weekend and I was surprised at how much coloring it actually took. Just keep adding and keep adding. I only had Wiltons, but it took me about 3/4 of a gel jar of violet and also some red and blue.
