Gum Paste In Candy Molds?

ok so ive read a million places you can use candy molds with gum paste unfortunetly im not really seeing a how to? so im just wondering do you just grease the mold pop it in and let it dry? remove it from the mold before it drys? im soooooo lost and so in over my head i wanted to try something new for my sister in laws baby shower but im afraid i will just have to use cutters and my handy fondant icon_sad.gif any help is appreciated

Yes...you can use the candy molds! I dust them with cornstarch...or make a ball the size you need to fill the mold of fondant/gumpaste and dust IT with the cornstarch...press them in and tap the mold to pop them out!

thank you so much corn starch makes sense , you do after all make it with that
