I baked my first WASC cake tonight, and I am in love! Not only do I love the taste of it (which I am not a big fan of white cake usually)....I also love how dense it is!
These cakes are like bricks! I know that would normally be bad, but I can tell that these suckers are going to withstand a lot. I am looking forward to trying my next batch of WASC and trying to carve them. My first carving efforts were pretty difficult, b/c the cake was too moist.
