Hello folks,

So I need a good Chocolate buttercream recipe. I searched the recipes and there are a few there but I am not if I could give any a stab.

so my question is do any of you have a reliable chocolate buttercream recipe?

Thank you in advance... Love you all

This one is great too (Toba Garrett's buttercream) - it is raved about quite a lot here on CC. It works just fine without the liqueur too, I just add a little more vanilla. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Chocolate-Buttercream-109248

I've used Toba Garrett's buttercream and it is good. Here is another one I tried in the recent past that I thought was easier and tasted wonderful. It got rave reviews from my crowd!

I loved it! Good luck.

I made Toba's chocolate buttercream and it is the best icing ever. I did use the liqueur and it was so good. It's very light and melts in your mouth!! Yummmmmmmmmm!

I wanted to add that my regular chocolate buttercream is the "chocolate syrup buttercream" in the recipe section. It is very smooth and everyone loves it.

Chocolate liqueur is kind of expensive. I can't stand coffee so I don't make recipes that use coffee. So, I wonder if you could just sub. chocolate syrup in place of the chocolate Liqueur.
