I am going to make cookies for my daughters birthday. I will use the NFSC recipe and Antonia's RI recipe.
Never used RI before....

I am making cookie monster and Elmo cookies. So will outline and flood the faces (Lets use cookie monster for my example) and let dry. (So I have read a couple of hours to overnight....I will probably flood and set overnight.)
Then I will have the black mouth, white eyes, and black pupils. Do I have to do the white eye and let set for a couple of hours before adding the pupils on top?

Thanks for your help icon_smile.gif

Usually the RI will set up enough for you to add the pupil within an hour. It won't be completly set up but enough that the pupil will not mix in with the white.

The longer you let it dry, the less likely the colors will bleed. I'd try to give it at least a couple of hours.
