One asking questions and I can see four more standing behind him waiting their turn. They got through the DPS bill fast, but I think this one hits them in their own pocketbooks ...

Five now that are in view of the camera. No telling how many are really in the line.

Gattis gave a really inspirational speech last night on why they should vote Yes on 1657. But man, some of these guys hate it.

I have been watching since yesterday morning.I am just wondering if we could possibly get a Rep to author a bill that would clean up and organize the bill process. This is ridiculous. icon_mad.gif

All of the bills that were posponed should have to move to the end of the line and let other bills have their chance. Just my opinion.

Hopefully he did clarify after he got that answer that he IS FOR the bill!! If not, then they just think it is one more person against it!!! Tell him to call back and clarify!!!

Has anyone else called perrys office?

Oh no ... I'm sorry. They are still on the 3rd reading bills. We're way down the line. They have had a couple with a lot of discussion, but most of the others are going fairly quickly. I'm not giving up hope yet. thumbs_up.gif

Can you pull up the Supplemental House Calendar? They are going in order and just finished 1657.

There are a WHOLE BUNCH of bills that haven't had there chance.... So Im thinking.... Cant Gov Perry call and Emergency Session, or extend the session? Under what circumstances can he request and emergency session or extension of a session? Kelley? Got any info?

No. Believe me, I have inquired about every possible scenario. I do appreciate everyone taking the time to email me with their ideas, but there is nothing left. According to Patrick, we are out of options, and our only hope is if the "calendar grows wings and flies".

They are really trying to take care of business ... about time, but they are trying to table the Amendment that is being argued. More arguments .....

Here you go ... http://www.legis.state.tx.us/tlodocs/81r/calendars/html/H220090514.htm

They are going in order. Right now they are on 3480. If you can figure out an easy way to count all those bills, I would love to know. I started, but didn't get very far.
