could you double and triple a pound cake recipe? Is there a cake with a more dense consistency than box but a little less than pound? WASC did not impress me. It was heavy but not dense (if that makes sense). Thanks

I double my poundcake recipe and it is dense, but not heavy. I don't give out my recipe, sorry. But, I can tell you that I converted a poundcake recipe and just added leavening in the form of baking powder and salt in order to get it where it is no longer a heavy cake.
