It has finally happened! The dream has become a reality! I started my business "borrowing" a kitchen always with the intent to build my own kitchen. Mostly because I'm lazy and it got old schlepping my stuff back and forth icon_biggrin.gif . Now 18 LOOOOOOONG (yes I know that is a relatively short period of time) months later my kitchen has passed with flying colors. I'm so happy!

I would like to thank everyone who has posted about finally becoming liscensed in their area. Your stories have provided much encouragement as I've slogged through the hoops to build my own kitchen. Whenever I would get down thinking I would never finish, what was the point, would I pass, I would come here and someone would have posted their story. It was all the encouragement I needed so thanks!

I've posted a few pics because I'm so pround of DH who did 90% of the work. I suppose this means I have to keep him icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

WOW!!! Congratulations! Your kitchen is awesome!! I want one!

It looks so inviting and well equiped. You are so fortunate to have a handy husband. I just showed mine the pics and said..."see, see, i want one" He just chuckled. He is very handy too, but we definitely don't have your kind of space in our kitchen.

Way to go, and best of luck in the business.

Oh's gorgeous and spacious, and soooo nice. !!!Your hubby does nice work. Congratulations ! Yes, I too dream of the day. Right now I am working out of my normal kitchen with a double wall oven , ( a used one , very recently installed Like 2 weeks ago ) a regular sized range, and a professonal series fridge and freezer ., I don't think I can fit much more in it.! icon_rolleyes.gif

Enjoy !

Thanks everyone! I can't stop smiling icon_biggrin.gif ! In answer to the questions:

littlecake: it's about 650 square feet (waaaaaay more than I need but who's complaining)
RylanTy: not the attic, but above the garage. That's why it's so light in there.

Again thanks everyone, I'm off to go take it for a spin icon_lol.gif

Congratulations. What an exciting time for you and your family.
Please tell your husband that he did a fantastic job. This is a true labor of love. It really looks wonderful.

I love all the natural light that floods in. The colors you picked look upscale. The floor match is perfect. Such a gorgeous combination beauty and function.

If this is above your home garage, what a great convenience.
