I have this cooks mixer: http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=57089&CatID=58060&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=1010d86&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=57089|57345&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=5&CmCatId=57089|57345|58060. It is continually on sale. I can't afford a kitchen aid - at least not one with any power. I really like mine. The only problem I have with it is that it is on the noisy side. But my sister and I both have it and it works great. I can make 4 batches of buttercream in it at once.

I got the cooks mixer from jcpenny 600 watts and the whisk is horrible. The base is plastic and as you start to mix is breaks. I do not recommed this at all. I tried 2 of them.
