I asked earlier whether it was similar to gum tragacanth, which I now know it is not (as far as I can tell). But, none of the search engines I have used have given me much more than where it is from and where I could buy it.

Can someone please tell me what it is actually used for? As I'm getting quite frustrated trying to find out (obviously my google skills are not up to scratch!)
