I'll make a lightning mcqueen for my son too, end of may, and I had the idea to use the shaped pan for the cake, could be the cake itself or use chocolate to mold and use to decorate the cake, I saw something like that with a elmo shaped pan, but I'll figure out how to make it. I hope that you could use this idea to, or use the toy lika a cake topper. Good luck.
