Hi everyone! I am not a business owner (maybe someday!) but I thought I'd share this with you all. My son's school has a fundraiser around Mother's Day. They do this through Publix bakery. The children have a chance to order a cake which they decorate for their mom. I think the cake last year was about a 6 inch round (maybe heart shaped...I just can't remember). They're $6.50 per cake and the school gets $1.50 per cake. Of course the kids have a blast decorating them with roses, sprinkles, etc.

I realize that you probably wouldn't make a ton of money offering your cakes at those prices and then giving money back to the school but it could also be great advertising!!!

I was just thinking that if I had a licensed business I'd love to offer my services to my child's school so I thought I'd share!

Thanks for sharing! That's a neat idea to raise money for the school.
