I ever had was this weekend in new hampshire (I'm from CT). I was at blewbackers (?spelling of name) on main st. In Keene. I can't even to begin to describe how moist, firm and so full of flavor it was. I bought what was left of the cake to bring home.
I asked who made the cake and was told they have a woman who bakes for them. Everything looked so yummy! But this cake was beyond anything I've ever tried!
I would PAY to have this receipe.
I'm curious if anyone here has ever tried this CC poundcake? I guess you would need to have tried it there in keene, new hampshire.
My mouth is watering thinking about it.
I will drive back to keene jusr for this CC poundcake!
I wish I had taken a picture of it to post on here. You should see the color, and it had just the right amount of crust, just a little brown, and Mmmmmmmmm, I gotta stop!

P.S. Be sure to use BLEACHED AP flour, as unbleached will result in the bottom portion of the cake being very greasy.....
