Still some flaws but I was pleased with how it came out. Used the WASC recipe for the top tier and Chocolate WASC for the bottom. Great recipe! Will use 50/50 gumpaste & fondant from now on on flowers. some of the ones I made got brittle. Thanks again for all your help.

Great Work! I absolutely luv the colors. "quilted" cakes are among my favs.

I also really love the green wainscoting on your kitchen walls. With the dark trim & the white door!? What a beautiful place to create beautiful cakes. icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you all for your kind words. This cake was completely done in MMF fondant. I love making the roses out of fondant but, I will use some gumpaste from now on thanks to one of your suggestions.

Ayanami, I appreciate your comments on my kitchen too. It actually has a tuscany theme with grapes and vines etc. Unfortunately, I wish it was bigger when I'm creating cakes.

I used kakeladi's recipe and it was great. Very easy to work with. Held up beautifully. Dense enough but moist. Everyone loved the taste too.

The dot's are edible pearls put on with piping gel. Very easy, just a little time consuming. I had little pearls all over the kitchen though icon_rolleyes.gif
