Hi, this is out to all the Aussie girls, I want to try rolling fondant with shortening, and wanted advice on what to use.
Can I use copha, or best to track down some So-lite or Crisco (USA FOODS)...if so, which is better??
I have just been using pure icing sugar till now, but want to give it a go as it seems like everyone on here does it
I used copha when I rolled my fondant - just smeared it all over the bench. I had guessed that it was our closest equivalent. Another Aussie girl put me on to this site. I think it's based in Melbourne but they import Crisco - it looks nothing like copha! I'll have to try it one day!
