When making a loopy bow topper
1. do you use fondant or gum paste or a combination of both?
2. if your use a pasta machine to roll out your fondant/gum paste what number/thickness do you roll it out to?

I have my first one to make for a cake next week and I want to make the bow either tomorrow or Monday.

Thank you!

Not sure about the pasta roller as I have never used one. However, when I make my bows, I usually use a 50/50 gumpaste/fondant mix. I find it dries a bit harder into the shape I want.

You're welcome - and yes, Otto's a "princess"! He's a terrible suck! We were told when we bought him that we'd never have a lap dog in him, but he's 100 lbs of lap dog.
