Ok..i've been asked to make a WASC wedding cake with an orange curd filling. What are the rules on Curds...can they sit out or do they need to be refrigerated?? And if curds are mixed with buttercream do they need to be refrigerated?? I searched curds before writing this and could not find anything. Helppppp.

Thanks

Well, even the store-bought jars of curd say to refrigerate after opening, so I would assume that yes, it would need to be refrigerated.
