Just wondering if any of you are close to a restaurant supply store where you can boxes in bulk and other cake decorating supplies. Shipping cost's are killing me and I would rather drive somewhere to get them. Thanks in advance for your help!! icon_biggrin.gif

I'm in between Cleveland and Akron and have a half-dozen different cake supply stores. I believe you're located in western Ohio. Don't know how far you're willing to drive but County Kitchen Sweetart is located in Fort Wayne Indiana. Don't know if that's much help for you.

Fairly close. Mt Victory is about 20 miles north of Marysville. Was thinking of taking a day trip to CK but if there is something closer that offer the same things I would rather go there.

post #7 of 12 do you order from Joshen? Is it wholesale only, do they have a store front?

You can try I used to work with the owner at a packaging company in Cleveland. I know they do have access to bakery boxes. Might be able to help with some other items too. Ask for the owner, Tim Spicer.

I just bought boxes from Sam's this weekend.
They sell in a case of 50.
I got 1/2 sheet trays and window lids for about $30 total.
I didn't think to ask , but they'd probably sell their other sizes, too.

Edited to say:
Actually it's a box bottom (tray) and a box top (with window) and it was $36 inc. tax.
