carrot & walnut cake iced in chocolate ganache.is it a good combination? the bride wants a 2 tier wedding cake w/ chocolate cake as the bottom tier & carrot & walnut cake as the top tier.she wants both covered in ganache..thank you in advance

I don't see why they wouldn't taste good together. Carrot cake is a spiced cake, and chocolate and cinnamon go well together.

Besides, there are a bunch of recipes out there for chocolate carrot cake, so I would say yes.

Has the bride tasted this combination before? If not, then I suggest you do a tasting with her before she finalizes the order.

hi!the bride hasn't tasted this combi altho she has tasted my carrot and walnut but w/ creamcheese frosting and my ganache on the chocolate cake..thanks for the suggestion tho
