I'm just wondering what the rules are on using a semi-pro picture of my cake? He has them all listed on Flickr and told everyone (not me b/c he doesn't know me, but in an email that was forwarded to me from a friend who knew the mom who had the cake-pshew!) that they could print them off themselves if they wanted. So, can I post it on my site? Should I email him (if I can find his email) and ask him if I can put it on my site? How do I handle this?

Yes, get his permission first, he owns the photo. icon_smile.gif

Yeah, just ask him. Be sure sure to offer to give him credit "Photo by XYZ Photography". Every photographer I've ever asked has given me use of the photo for my website free as long as I give them credit for the pic.
