I know that people charge differently for cakes covered in fondant. Usually around 3$ a slice. What if the cake is covered in buttercream and has fondant details? I was thinking about a monkey cake with some leaves, bananas, and a monkey on top. Would that also be 3$ a serving even though it's not completely covered in fondant?
I haven't sold a cake for about 4 yrs so my thought are probably considered old fashioned I would probably charge around $2. Depending on how much work/how big the monkey is I might charge another $10 for it.
I charge $3 for all bc, $3.25 for bc with fondant motifs, and $3.50 for all fondant. Toppers, figures, etc are extra. And I'm on the low side of average in my area.
