I am trying to do a 3-d firetruck cake for a friends b-day. Anyone have any step by step instructions for sculpting it or getting the fondant fire engine red? Also how can I make it seem like it is being held up by the tires?

For the red fondant I would just purchase red satin ice and add a touch of orange. Well worth it.

good luck

I am actually making my own MM fondant! Does anyone know if I can color the melted marshmallow mixture before adding the sugar? Then I can just add more red later if I need to! I am new with the fondant thing, I just don't like the taste of the store bought kind.
