The best sizes for a stacked/tiered cake? I am planning my son's 1st b-day cake and I am planning on buying the Wilton 3D giant cupcake pan. That will be my top tier. I want 2 additional tiers underneath. I don't really care about # of servings, I just want it to look nice. (I only "need" about 50). I don't quite know the diameter of the bottom of that pan yet. But, does everyone think that a 2 inch difference (8 & 10) or a 4 inch difference (8 & 12) looks better?
Just wondering what everyone thinks?

I like a 3" difference the best.
4" difference is good.
2" is my least favorite.

It's just personal choice though, completely subjective.
