Hello all,

I have 2 skates to do and I needed a bit of help, what do I see the cake on top of once it looks like the skate?? I mean to put on the wheels!!

Also have you ever heard of baking the top part of the skate in a large soup can?

someone told me I can do the leg part in a soup can and the foot from a loaf pan!!

HELP plz!

I hope I can help with the question of the wheels. Please take a look at my pixs - there is a cake I made of a firetruck. Please note the way I used a platform to create the look of the cake actually sitting on the wheels. Many thanks to TheCakeWizard for helping me with this cake and the way to make it look like that. Just paying it forward. I hope this helps you with the roller skate wheels and how you can make the skates look real. I placed a piece of wood 2 inches smaller than the cake base to create the floating look. thumbs_up.gif
