What do you charge for chocolate covered strawberries? I had a customer request a quote for 3 dozen of them and I have no idea what to charge. I am in Texas. Thanks for your advice!

Hmmm...good question...I wold guess at $1.00 each (Large size) maybe more to cover the chocolate, berries and time...I have never had that request..but I know strawberries are hugely expensive here right now.Almost $6.00 a plastic container and they aren't all large so you may have to consider how many you would have to buy to get 36 large berries and not rotten ones...unless you can get a flat for a good price at farmers market etc..but that is in peak season and I don't know when peak season for you is but here we are still in winter....

Does she want the usual, stemmed strawberries-those cost a packet and usually covered go for about $4 each. Regular strawberries I would do for $1.50 and throw in nuts or tuxedo kinds. Good luck!
