Anyone who has dragees, please help! I just bought 1 bottle of silver dragees and 1 bottle of multi-color dragees recently. The silver ones don't have any smell but the multi-color ones has some kind of sour/weird smell? Is that normal??? They're suppose to last forever right? Because they're just sugar. Please help.

Are you sure the multi-colored ones aren't flavored? That's the only thing I can think of. I've only ever used the silver and white pearls, but I'm pretty sure I've seen the colored ones as having different flavors.

You could try eating just one--on the idea that one wouldn't be enough to make you sick, especially if you spit it out immediately if it tates bad.

I've just tasted one, sweet like sugar, there's no other taste. Might just the smell, I hope. I just want to make sure if the dragees aren't suppose to smell like this, before I call the store who sold me these.

Mine smell. Kind of a sweetish, weird smell. I've bought them for years and they've always smelled that way.

I stuck my nose up to the bottle, and yes, my multi-color ones have an odor.

The things we talk about on here. This would be one of those conversation where someone walks in the room and picks up the tail end and then just looks at you like you're nuts!

I have generic Excedrin Migraine and when I open the bottle it smells like vinegar. Yuck!

To OP, isn't it great you can ask here and not call the store and possibly have them make you feel stupid? Or worse yet, throw them out to find out later they always smell that way?

Gotta love CC!
