Hi, I posted this yesterday but now I cannot locate my posting so i guess i must have screwed up. Anyway, I am making a 1/2 sheet cake that is 2 flavors. I want to split (torte) the layers and alternate them. Since they are large cakes, should i freeze them prior to spliting them? Any help would be appreciated.
Chill them but don't fz hard. I have had lots of problem w/a good cake leveler trying to torte fzn cake.
